OK, I'll offer a bit of introspection...
I am usually friendly and cordial, yet I speak frankly rather than placate and almost never suffer to appease.
I recognize and appreciate beauty, strength, originality, talent, style and intellect. I would prefer to be alone than in the company of those not endowed with these characteristics.
I am very critical of myself, but I would still rather be me than somebody else.
I admire strength of will grounded by compassion and kindness.
I sense the world around me in many dimensions. No words or promises secure a higher authority of truth than that which I perceive naturally. Everything that can be communicated to me verbally can be more credibly communicated otherwise.
Criticism tainted by hypocrisy disgusts and repels me.
Underestimate me to your own loss. I will be disappointed, but only because I have allowed myself to be. I often have a tendency to overestimate others, especially if I care about them. I realize that this has high odds, but I consider it a worthy wager.

I really appreciate people with something to say. Please don't be offended if I don't respond to open ended/chat like email questions in the vain of "how are you today?" Questions like this and "what's been going on?" are normally only acceptable from people with whom I keep very close contact (all, maybe five, of them), and then these questions are unnecessary anyway since this information will most likely auto-exchange. If you want to message me, be my guest, but consider yourself forewarned that I don't normally respond to stuff that is so generic. If you don't expect a response anyway, then that's not a problem; I do realize that this is often how strangers greet each other, even though I never understood the tradition. You will have to be a little more clever or at least more specific to reach me or get me to respond in any real way, unless you are so hot that it doesn't matter ;-)
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY MESSAGED ME I have a ton of messages that I haven't gotten back to yet. I have a lot that I haven't even read. I guess I am just really self-absorbed or something, because the same thing happens with my voice mail. Sometimes I just get back to people and sometimes I dont.
