About Me

I'm in my early thirties and discovered that art ( and my husband and little girl )is my true joy. I love to create something new each and every day. I love to take things apart and make a new piece. I love creating masks, collage art, painting old photographs, vintage images and the smell of raku firings. All about trading ATC's, I love to dream and astral project. I love all kinds of ecclectic music and have a penchant for artists and musicians. I love to laugh! I love old black and white films and strange little succulent plants. I really love the town where I live, its like being in 5 different countries at once! Awesome food, languages and art.

My Interests

ART ART ART! Paint and clay, assemblage, experimental and ecclectic music, sushi, art shows, parties with live art and music, traveling the world, cactus and succulents, old movies, knitting ridiculously long scarves, laughing, watching my little girl grow up and general habadashery.

I'd like to meet:

My one true art mentor! Where are you? Artists, art buyers and kooky personalities. Old and new friends. Heros and tough women, People who love music and old films. People with huevos without the chip on the shoulder. People who find beauty in odd things such as cactus plants and old photographs. Anyone who has any info on my great-uncle mexican painter Jesus Guerrero Galvan. People who love to dream and better yet know how to translate dreams. Judith Deim, and the ghosts of Che, Picasso, Frida, Marlon Brando, y mis antepasados. IF YOU"D LIKE TO ADD ME PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE FIRST.

My bad-ass chancleta hurling Salvadoran grammy who cursed like a sailor and used just the right amount of toughness and love (oh how I have a weak spot for the latina grandmother!) Fierce women, Judith Deim gypsy painter and La Frida of course and the absolutely deliciously juicy ass kicking TURA SATANA!
