When so many great bands such as The Beatles and The Dave Clark Five were coming to the U.S. from Great Britain and the European continent? Well, it’s happening again only this time from Italy! Yes, I said Italy! We are about to be happily invaded again by an incredibly talented group called MOMO Family.Starting on October 6, 2007 with a performance at the Music for Life Concert, a major event being held at Weeki Wachee Springs, Florida sponsored by The 1in8 Organization’s fight against Breast Cancer, MOMO Family begins a well planned burst of much needed light onto the U.S. music scene. With a line up of very attractive band members and a most unique sound, MOMO Family combines European and American musical styles giving us a wonderful blend of strong dynamic rhythms and out of this world vocals making the combination of their influences a music fan’s absolute delight. Women go completely crazy for these great looking Italians and their powerful contemporary music.MOMO’s first album Leden has broken all records for audience response in their own market and the American music market is in for a treat. With their latest release “Viva Barcelonaâ€, MOMO Family is blasting onto the music scene in a big way. A beautifully crafted video pushes all the right buttons to support the power of this hit song and the best thing is that they have Italian and English versions of the song. In fact, one of MOMO’s plans for capturing the heart of the American market is to record a full English lyric album while they are in the U.S. MOMO’s American Management Team headed up by Gary Steffins who is bringing the group to America, have secured studio time at GrooveTunes Studios based in the Atlanta, GA area and will spend the next couple of months recording the CD with “live†performances dotting the schedule. Steffins, the album’s Executive Producer says he plans to have the album completed before the year’s end with a longer full debut tour of the U.S. by the summer of ‘08. Influences: Goodstuff and the Pros are very diverse in their music interests. We love artists such as Elvis, The Beatles, Steely Dan, Santana, Zep, Tull, Blood Sweat and Tears, The Band, ZZTOP, John Kay and Steppinwolf, Hydra and many others. We have done everything from shows to heavy jazzrock. We just love music!
