Kicking Tom in the nuts. Writing stupid parody songs about the Dallas Cowboys.
I'd like to meet:
Tom...so I can kick him in the nuts for stalking me.
Music:
King's X, Dream Theater, Nickel Creek, DADA, Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies, Brother Cane, Porcupine Tree, Transatlantic, Jellyfish, The Beatles (of course)...the classics...Zep, Thin Lizzy, TRAPEZE, Deep Purple, Steppenwolf, Pink Floyd to name a few. Some newer stuff I've been digging includes Half Zaftig, Silver Seas, American Minor, Super Stack and The Black Summer Crush, if they ever release their debut album. Oh yeah, and THE SHADES, a great local classic rock cover band that features some great friends of mine. I listen to all sorts of other stuff, from melodic to heavy stuff, jazzy to blues, acoustical, electrified and everything in between. But radio music pretty much blows goat.
Movies:
Some of all-time my faves: The Shawshank Redemption, Almost Famous, Kingpin, Animal House, That Thing You Do, Sergeant York, The Razor's Edge (1946), Star Wars, Fight Club, Say Anything, The Odd Couple, Finding Forrester, Breaking Away, A Hard Day's Night, Captains Courageous, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Planet Of The Apes (the original, not that crappy remake).
Television:
Mythbusters, Flight Of The Conchords, Star Trek (the original series and Enterprise) Andy Griffith, The Beverly Hillbillies (thank God for TVLand!), NFL Football, old movies. Lots of science and nature shows (how did teachers make this stuff so boring in school?). Discovery channel RULES! The Deadliest Catch, Survivorman, Dirty Jobs, American Chopper (yeah, I know...). VH1 Classic Albums is usually pretty kick ass. Like radio, just about everything on network TV blows goat...especially reality shows. But PBS ROCKS on digital TV!
Books:
Living Fossil: The Story Of The Coelacanth, The Beatles Anthology, Victoria's Secret Catalog
Heroes:
Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, Leonardo DaVinci, Frank Frazetta, Vincent Van Gogh, Michaelangelo, Captain James T. Kirk, Everson Walls
