Five Park Drive are an emergence of raw talent from sunny central Scotland!
In 2006, the band toured London and Southampton as well as played some of the best venues in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Highlights have included being the first band to perform at the opening of Barrowlands 2, as well as playing in front of thousands at the 'Big in Falkirk' Festival, performing alongside such artists as The Specials, Sandi Thom and Midge Ure.You may remember Five Park Drive from other gigs with various touring bands such as The Hedrons, The Hazey Janes, The Bluetones, Cat The Dog, The Complete Stone Roses, Aberfeldy or Rick Buckler's ex band 'The Gift'.
May 2007 saw Five Park Drive self fund a Scottish and English tour performing along side The A.M's (Dominik Diamond), The Complete Stone Roses, The Draytones & Holy Ghost Revival (1965 Records) and the newly reformed The Jam (Bruce Foxton & Rick Buckler) to a sell out crowd!..
The band have recently finished recording their debut single, 'Panic!' and two other brand new tracks, 'Under The Lights' & 'Aunt Bessy' with established record producer Larry Primrose (Cosmic Rough Riders, Idlewild & Franz Ferdinand) through independent label 'Double Plus Records'.
'Panic!' will be available via digital download very soon!..
With influences as varied as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and The Doors, through to The Charlatans and Stone Roses, Five Park Drive have created their own unique sound.
Miss them and miss out!
