About Me

THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LAW:
We are a 4 piece band from Dundee, Scotland. 1 year ago we went on our first toilet tour round the venues of the UK. In April 07 we did a supporting tour round the 2000+ venues with good mates, The View. In the same month we released our debut ltd edition single 'Milk & Honey' on Stimulus records which was playlisted on XFM London and XFM Scotland and also played on Radio 1, Radio 2, BBC Scotland, and several other local stations. We were also in NME Radar as well as The Fly's Ones To Watch and have played several Club NME shows and Levis Ones to Watch showcases.
This summer we are going to tour like fuck and release our album. Ooh aah up the law, Ooh aah up the law

My Interests

Music:

Band Members:

Stuart Purvey: Vocals, Stevie Anderson: Guitar, Simon Donald: Bass, Martin Donald: Drums

Hailing from Dundee, and riding on a new wave of enthusiasm for new music in the town, The Law first came to light playing at the Doghouse. As a powerful 4 piece, they initially got together writing & playing songs as a means of venting frustration at birds and bosses, and have grown hugely in the past year.
Several sessions at the T-Pot Studios with established producer Robin Evans and a recent UK tour with mates The View has earned the band nationwide interest. With a set of album worthy tunes and more songs in the making The Law are set for a busy 2008.......
