Disa-marie is Higher Ground. A 22-year old singer/songwriter, with rocker gaL attitude. She resides in van-city, Beautiful BC.

She plays guitar, 5-string bass, piano, percussion and has been singing since the age of 10. She is a Certified Audio Engineer; graduated from Hot Sole Music in 2004. She hopes to make her big break on stage and tour the world. If not, she will pursue her talent offstage as an engineer/technician. She has put out over 6 demos for not only her own solo project, but for her other band related projects as well. She has also recorded and produced with/for many other artists and bands.

Ani Difranco- She is my inspiration through many years of music. If I could trade places with anyone, it would definitely be her. She started her own record label when she was just 18 years old after telling a major record label to shove it. She has put out over 20 records and toured the world multiple times since then.
