About Me

Labelled a "musical visionary" by legendary Jamaican sound man Gladdy Wax, I am a London-based DJ and promoter with a passion for vintage black music. As a DJ, I am particularly known for my 50s and 60s jazz, rhythm & blues, soul, ska and calypso selections. However I collect and play many different styles from many different eras; from 30s rhythm & blues and swing through to 70s funk, reggae and salsa, as well as some more contemporary releases.
You can view my upcoming DJ spots in the calendar below.
I run the highly acclaimed Right On! club night in London. It is one of the UK's most open-minded black music nights and has been called "a total musical education". Right On! attracts people from all over London, the UK and even Europe and beyond.
For more information about my club nights and my DJing visit www.right-on.org
I am also editor of the London Dossier - www.londondossier.info - the hipster's guide to London. This is a listings site featuring London's coolest clubs, gigs, bars, cafes, shops and much more. It is the only website of its kind where you can find all this information in one place and has been referred to as the "bible" of London's scene.
