Working 9 to 5 is easy, same routine every day, now, being an artist, that's real hard work !!!

About Me

Myspace Layouts, Contact Tables & More!
Me is simple. I live the life I choose. I work hard in what i believe. Most of the time would be some project involving either playing the bass, singing, writing, arranging, recording, producing, mixing, photographing bands or organising events.
Personal Facts:
I'm not looking for anyone, and yet i'm open to meet anyone.
I can sometimes seem a bit arrogant, but that's only because i know what i want, and i always want to do things my way. I'm also very chilled out, sweet and always in a good mood. I'm usually quite focused on my work, but thanks god there is music and there are women.

I like all sorts of people, i think that despite all beleifs and theories, we are all the same, therefore we are all ONE. What i mean is that when you meet someone else, you can see a reflection of yourself in that person. It might look like we are all unique and different, but we're not, this is just an ilusion. Yes, the soul is unique, but here on earth, reality is that we all feel the same, think the same, and act the same, pretty much.
We are like machines in that respect. We, of course, have that unique soul and the choices that we make along our life, shape who we are. In within ourselves we are all made of the same.
So why do we fight, hate, love, greed? Cause thats the way we all are.
Nothing is going to change, we've been the same for the last 5000 years.
But EVOLUTION...,
Evoultion is tranformation, not change.
Peace comes only from ACCEPTANCE, accepting people the way they are; accepting yourself for what u are, and accepting the world we live in.
Enjoy... get in touch if anything.
Love life!
Professionally:
From an early start, Miguan heard all sorts of music- his stepdad, Daniel Copquin , a virtuoso bass player and a fan of many, many diverse styles, from jazz to rock, introduced him to a rich environment of music which has blown him away since very young.
Growing up and going to school in Buenos Aires, Argentina, He was first classicly trained in the piano from the age of 8; but It was actually at the age of 16, when he was playing keyboards in a covers band and their bass player left the band, that he started playing bass for the first time.
After going to uni to study Multimedia for 3 years he started working as an interactive designer and kept playing in a couple of bands until he decided to move to london.
Now living in London for the last 7 years, he started working as a freelance interactive designer for clients such as Chanel 4, National Geographic, MTV Studios, VTR and Whereitsat; but slowly gave up that field and got drifted into the music business.
As a bass player, he's been working with amazing singer/songwriter Fiona Renshaw , who has written songs for Lisa Stanfield and Mr. Scruffy among others.
Have also worked and shared stages with many artists such as Kuljit Bahmra (Tabla Player and Producer), Collin Black, Andy Strange(Robbie Williams Producer), Guitarist Hugo Elizalde, Trumpeteer Kevin Davy, Guitarist Nicolas Meier , and bands such as Doreen Doreen , The Bellagios (Winners of "Glastonbury's Best Unsigned Band 2005"), LAUTREC , Keybordist and Producer Hannah Vasanth , Singer Julia Biel , Beat Tree , Focused Few, The Fontanas and The Cosmicorus.
His credits also include playing bass on the music for the film "The Winter of Love" together with Mike Lindup (Level 42) and Kuljit Bahmra.
As a Producer/Engineer he produced tracks for Beat Tree, Hannah B, Demi Garcia Sabat, Susana Lang-Lenton, Son de Havana, Matt Bacon, Morski, Shiv and Brecha tracks so far. --Click on the links to listen.
He has also been doing photography for bands (on a more hobby-bassis) for the last 15 years. U can see some examples at www.meiergroup.com .
He's currently recording an album with Brecha as a bass player/arranger/producer together with Andy Strange (Robbie Williams, Elton John and George Michael's Co-Producer/Engineer). He is also playing bass for The International Love Collective and runs a monthly party @ 93 Feet East called Viva La Revolucion! and co-runs a monthly night @ Ginglik Bar called "Escape from New York".
