Work Experience 1993-1994 Vocal Ensemble Ebano y Marfil (Ebony & Ivory) Experience: • National and International festivals • First place and Grand Premio in the 3th International Competitive Festival of Vocal Agroupation in Ibague, Colombia. 1995 Orquesta Sensation Experience: • As a Bass Guitar player and Musical Director. • Played in top class Shows and Cabarets in Havana city, also as a support band for very experienced and famous artists featuring in the Cuban Film “Buena Vista Social Club” 1996-1997 Section Musician Experience: • As a Bass Guitar and Keyboard player at the studios EGREM in Havana, recording music for film, advertisements and personals productions. 1997- 2000 Band ASERE Experience: • As a Musical and General Director, and Double Bass Player • Touring extensively all around Europe and Great Britain performing in most of the World Music and Jazz Festivals • Recording two CDs in France 2000 • Music Teacher Experience: As part of the Graduation Standards, I worked as a music teacher in the Vocational School of Art in the Havana Province ( September 1992- August 1993 ) ,gaining experience in planning, teaching and knowledge of working with different Key Stages • Was granted permission to stay in the United Kingdom as a Musician and Work Shop Leader, teaching in different Primary Schools, High Schools and Universities (SOAS College, KINGSTON University) how to play all the different percussion instruments in the Cuban music, how to combine them in an ensemble, sing along with them and dance.
