my love for music goes a long way back. i've always been obsessed with drums, growing up in trinidad listening to mainly soul, reggae, calypso and a little country. when i was about 12 i heard sgt peppers for the first time and was never able to imagine life again without being a part of the creation of music.when the smoke had cleared i proceeded to start my first band (juvenile) with some friends from high school (me on drums). we had some fun playing some covers and a few originals until i left trinidad and went on a 3 year spiritual quest that took me to india, europe and north america until i eventually settled in vancouver bc.i've lived in bc for the last 17 years raising my 4 boys with my wife devaki. we also put together a band in that time (samsara, with me on vocals & guitar), started the komasket music festival and toured western canada incessantly. i've also released 3 independent cds and now working on number 4. this new one will see a return to what i think of more as my songwriting songs and not so much the uptempo dance vibes that's come to be expected from samsara.since december 2005 i've been living in london, england working in network security and quietly plotting my new directions in music. definitely embracing the acoustic guitar a lot more, looking to take it to the streets literally, to connect with the masses of this crazy, beautiful city.peaceI edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
