I no longer have time for 'INTERESTS'
........................................
But when i do get the chance, I have a great love for music - listening to it, writing lyrics, singing ...
I read a lot
i write poetry n the odd short story.
I really love fashion.
And jewellery.
And changing my image.
I would love to say i go out and get pissed a lot but i dont. I just enjoy life as much as I can.
On a work basis, I'm looking to play around with some really interesting ideas; things that will shock people, start conversations. I want to have some fun too!
I'd like to meet:
I WANT TO MEET PHOTOGRAPHERS. MODELS. ACTORS. FILM MAKERS. STYLISTS AND
FEEL FREE TO ADD ME .... AND MESSAGE ME .... WE CAN ALL HELP EACH OTHER OUT :)
Music:
Erm .. this is too hard to explain.
I love most kinds of music, but i hate r'n'b and all this silly wannabe rap . WHERE'S THE TALENT??? I love any song with beautiful and meaningful lyrics, thats the most important part. I am a sucker for anything acoustic. If I like a song, I'll admit it. I'm not some genre snob who refuses to like something because it's not their usual style.
Movies:
Ooh this is an even harder one!
i'm such a bad film critic, i cant watch a film without noticing the tiniest of errors!
i've got a slight ambition to be a film director myself so i always come out of the cinema talkin about how i'd have done it if it were my film.
But films i've loved ...
Pulp fiction - Tarantino is the coolest, most ace director around!
On a similar line is Sin City - i love the film noir with "colour as a weapon" (thats a quote from Rodriguez himself!) tres cool!
Lets see ... ooh, i loved Donnie Darko too.
Erm ... god the list could go on forever!
Best film I've seen recently was V for Vendetta - bloody amazing film i have to say.
Watch it! It's British!
And Natalie Portman does NOT look like Natalie Portman ... until V shaves her head! lol :P
Maybe i should think about dividing it into genres!
Now THATS geeky! Hehe!
Television:
I have to say that "Joy of Painting", with Bob Ross is the greatest thing on Sky!
Check him out on the Discovery channels (i think it's the Real Time one) at 9 am. He brings his 'little friends' onto the set with him ... its fun to watch a psychotic squirrel running riot while he's trying to paint a woodland wonderland lol
My boyfriend is OBSESSED with television, so, naturally, he love seems to have rubbed off on me! LONG LIVE STARGATE!!!
Books:
I love Kelley Armstrong.
I've just finished reading "Alone" by Lisa Gardner too. Although it takes a while to start up, one the story really kicks in it's quite superb.
So much pain in one book is amazing.
A true thriller.
Ahh you have to read Karin Slaughter too ... ive just read her debut novel, Blindsighted and it is absolutely AMAZING!!!! READ IT!
Too many books to mention really, I love reading.
The Intimate Adventures of a London Callgirl by belle Du Jour is classically funny.
Current one is going quite well. Will let you know when I've finished.
Then again, if you care, You'll ask ...
Heroes:
anyone thats brave enough to be themselves
