Music:
MUSIC
In no set order: rock n' roll, rockabilly, country, surf, blues, R'n'B (the right kind if you know what I mean!), Las Vegas Grind, Doo Wop, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Tiger Army, Strike Anywhere, Fucked Up, Gene Vincent, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Imelda May, Wanda Jackson, Nick Cave, Beach Boys, Blondie, Billie Holiday, Millencolin, Eels, Defiance Ohio, This Bike is a Pipebomb, Rancid, The Postal Service, Billy Bragg, Descendents, Hepcat, Saves the Day, Sinatra, Elliot Smith, Beastie Boys, The Mountain Goats, Cherry Poppin Dadies (cheesy I know), MC Lars, OX, Set Your Goals, Mates of State, Down and Outs, Idle Hands, Madeline Peyroux, Morcheeba, Lil' Bit and the Customatics, Zombina and the Skeletones, Lloyd Price, Gomez, Stray Cats, The Andrews Sisters, Eight to the Bar, Al Green etc. Local bands...Your Life is a Grave (RIP), Big Bang, Swampmeat, Palookaville. Now the embarrassing collection...Tom Jones, Rod Stewart (my dad was into some bad stuff when I was growing up...), Bonnie Tyler, The Carpenters (reminds me of holidays in France when I was ickle)....
As you can see I have a pretty vast range of music I like. Don't like: whiney emo bands - Live performances have to have passion and show it, Indie, i.e. most bands whose names start with 'The". But as I said I'm pretty damn open minded!
Movies:
No order - Ghost World, How to Marry a Millionaire, True Romance, The Wizard of Oz, Double Indemnity, Cry Baby, Vertigo, Rear Window, Walk the Line, Heathers (anything with Christian Slater LOL!), All about Eve, Back to the Future, Gypsy, Team America, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Spirited Away, City of God, Grindhouse...about a 1000 I can't think of!
Television:
Family Guy, CSI - Las Vegas, Allo Allo, BBC documentaries, Sex and the City, Lipstick on Your Collar, Eddie Izzard, Jack Dee, Shooting Stars, Never Mind the Buzzcocks... not a lot of good stuff anymore, plus I'm a geek!
Books:
Trashy crime fiction - current fav = Tess Gerritson
I have way too many photography and art books...Cindy Sherman, Dita, American Ghost Towns......
