Larry Kramer - 20th Anniversary of ACT UP

Larry Kramer speaks at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center of New York City on the 20th Anniversary of the beginning of ACT UP. He calls for a guerilla army of lovers to fight for health care, act out against those who condemn and hate gays, and affirm our right to life and pleasure. At the end of the speech those attending called for an action against the hate speech of General Peter Pace on Thursday, March 15th at the US Armed Forces Recruiting Station in Times Square (Broadway & 7th Avenue). Meet at 12pm. On March 29th there will be an action on Wall Street. Meet at 11:30am at the Federal Building at Broadway and Worth.
