22-year old, multi-racial, openly gay, rap artist Cat-Eyez is DEFINITELY a new breed of MC. With his raw, in-your-face lyrics, and a style unlike any other, he proves that gay can also be gangsta. "I've always been around the thugs. And in fact, I used to bang until my lover at the time was killed by rival G's. It was then that I stopped all that and focused my street cred on rap as my hustle." And he is No Stranger to being on the grind. Dubbed hip hop's Ghetto Prince Charming, Cat-Eyez went through 3 failed record deals without so much as a mixtape. It forced him to realize that if you want something done right, you simply gotta do it yourself. And that is what he did. He disciplined himself to learn to produce his own beats and set out on recording "Cat-Astrophe", his debut album which is due for release in the late summer of 2007. He has shared a variety of obstacles that brought him to where he stands today: From lost loved ones, to a dramatic weight loss, and even health issues that still have a tendancy to pick at him. But he refuses to let it get in the way of his mission to take his rightful place as a serious rapper and fighting for the cause to end Homophobia in Hip Hop. Collaborating with artists like Deadlee, Salvimex, Bigg Nugg, Dela Cruz, Melange LaVonne, and Shortie Roc. As well as being a regular guest performer at Milo Management's showcases, the unity of LGBT artists is showing that the gays are bashing back. And this alleycat is right on the frontlines to ensure his victory. Cat-Eyez debut album "CAT-ASTROPHE" COMING SOON!!!Your Mood Ring is Orange
