What can I say about me that is not in my blog? Well, I tend to have a silly, sarcastic sense of humor. But I can laugh at myself as much as make silly comments about the state of the world and the people in it. I can be shy, but once I know you can be quite chatty. I'd like to meet:

There are many people I would like to meet. My favorite author is Michael Cunningham. He has such a soulful style and the way he integrates story lines is brilliant. He also takes risks with his story lines which I respect, and he writes about truths that many of us have difficulty resolving within ourselves.

As far as personal, I want to meet someone who is intelligent, FUNNY, kind, respectful and generous (especially of heart). I also like people who can communicate on an interpersonal level. You do not have to be perfect, just a perfect fit. I am not perfect either. I just want to make sure that I can be the best I can be for someone, and I want the same. Every day I learn something new, and I would hope that the person I choose to be with feels the same way. I also enjoy the simple things in life that tend to be overlooked -- good deeds, friendly people, beautiful nature, a great sunset, good food, good wine and great conversation. At the same time, I tend to be a little silly and balance intensity with humor. So, if it sounds like I expect a lot, it is just because I think we are both worth it.

If Audrey Hepburn were alive, she would be the one famous person I would like to meet, not because she is beautiful, which she is. And, not because she was a great actress (she was that!). But, I want to meet her because of her work for UNICEF, and her commitment to making the world a more loving and safer place.

I would also love to meet Andre Agassi, another hero of mine. His contribution to his sport left a legacy that will be forever remembered.
