When I was born, Miller/Boyett's BOSOM BUDDIES was starring a quick talking youngster named Tom Hanks, a sarcastic straight man named Peter Scolari, and a Alexandria VA hometown heartthrob named Donna Dixon. The show was just reaching the end of it's run. But what a run it was. It spawned stars such as Family Matters alum "Aunt Rachel" and Full House star "Danny Tanner." But alas, after only two seasons, ABC decided the show was not long for this world. Fans lashed out against the network, but Hanks and Scolari were forced to hang up their dresses forever. But in the hearts of it's fans, the irresistable tandem comedy chemistry between Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari will be live forever. ...whether they were wearing lipstick or not!*content sigh.*That happened around when I was born.
