Tommy GunnZ, 16 years old (born Thomas Pham, May 31st 1991) is a Vietnamese-American record producer born in California and currently lives in North Carolina. As one of the youngest music producers in the business he is best known for producing "Body Bags" for The Game, A highly contraversal diss record aimed towards 50 Cent and Tony Yayo after the incident with Jimmy Henchmen's son. He is also known for the producing the Power House anthem for The Game that featured WC (of West Side Connect) and Omar Cruz. He has also produced for a variety of artists including Birdman, The Game, Drake (Jimmy from Degrassi), Mack Maine(Young Money), Juice (Blackwallstreet), Ya Boy, Smitty and many more.
Born in Los Angeles, California. His parents moved to America with nothing. Growing up watching his parents start their own business and going from being dirt poor to being financially stable inspired him to pursue his dreams. He always had a strong passion for music and art. Although he never took piano lessons and couldn't read notes, he would spend a lot of his time creating and composing melodies on his piano.
It all started when he was 12 years old, when a friend gave him a digital audio workstation program called FL Studio. After a while he started posting his music on the internet. It started off as a hobby until he started selling his music online. He continued to sell his music over the internet for the next few years, until he caught the ear of Multi-Platinum producer Yonny ( who produced for Lil Wayne The Carter II, Trina, Birdman, Mya, Ray Cash and many more).
After hearing the talent and potential the kid had he decided to introduce him to Mr. Escobar who managed producers, and also landed him his first track with The Game, "Body Bags". The record was very controversial and drew a lot of attention. It was featured on many hip-hop sites including allhiphop.com and even mtv.com. Soon after, he produced another record for The Game that ended up being the anthem to "Power House", which received a lot of positive feedback.
After continuing to send tracks to The Game he was offered an exclusive production deal to sign with Black Wall Street, which he turned down. After turning down the deal he went back to working with his former manager Mr. Escobar.
Tommy GunnZ has become slightly more than a young protégé to the industry, and as his career progresses he will undoubtedly do big things.
