About Me

Matt Jefferson, also known as Mista Biggz, is an aspiring up and coming promoter for the Hip-Hop community. He has a passion to fill the ears of listeners with quality music that will enlighten minds and encourage creativity. Having worked with major artists such as Plies, Soulja Boy, V.I.C., G-Unit, Big Cat Records, and more, it may surprise you to know that Biggz is only 18 years old.
Born September 18th in Tucson, Arizona, Biggz grew up wanting to be an architect because of his ability to draw. He has had a variety of surroundings from Hampton, VA; Las Vegas, NV; to Fayetteville, NC. Despite all the moving, Biggz continued to follow his dream of accomplishing something major in the music industry.
It all started with passing out flyers for a club event hosted every week by a local management company so that heâ€™d be able to get in free. He found out that the management company also had a dance squad. Being that he could also dance, he joined. He toured with them, performing at events such as the Sweet Auburn Music Festival 2005 and 2006 in Atlanta, GA, The Track off Dock Bennett Rd with Foxy 99.1, and a Pre-Bike Rally Show with Hot 104.5 in Fayetteville, NC. But once he found that the entertainment side of music wasnâ€™t what he was interested in, he turned to the business side of the table. He eventually was titled the A&R Executive for the local company. After hosting many successful events, he left the company a year and a half later and began working with Wild Out Entertainment.
In October of 2007, he began doing club promotions, bringing in and meeting a variety of artists and producers. Currently working towards further developing his career as a promoter, Biggz has become slightly more than a young protÃ©gÃ© to the music industry, and as his career progresses he will undoubtedly do â€œBIGG[z]â€ things.
