So, I created my own business. Now, I have my own money and my own business and I can do it how I want to do it†says Travis. The self proclaimed “Realest Rapper in the Carolinas†currently co-owns Wildout Entertainment with his manager DJ Juice.
Travis’s biggest musical influences would be a mix of Jay-z, 50 cent, and Tupac. “They are three of the most aggressive, determined to do whatever they want to do to type of people, but they still know how to make millions on top of millions....and I see a lot of similar characteristics in myself when I see them.†Also, another recent influence is Plies: “....he is one of the most honest rappers. The streets don’t like a song always being about a car, house, or big diamond chains because at the end of the day no one really has that in the hood. So, just the honesty of his records and the subjects he chooses to talk about is why I see him as an influence.†Travis also views himself as an influence , “ I love me. I go hardâ€.
Travis describes himself as an independent rapper. He owns a music page, myspace. com/getemtrav, and has an up and coming mixtape called Real Niggas On Deck. He has his own webpage coming soon, getemtrav. com, and is currently working with a radio station called Wildout Radio (Myspace. com/wildout radio). Travis is very hardworking and definitely on the move!
