Jerel Williams -AKA- Rel is the Co-CEO of a independent label called Durtroad Productions.....He was born and raised in a small country town in Virginia called Red Oak....In 2004 Rel and his cousin Buck linked up with a long time high school friend name Rise (CEO of The Mayhem Family) and collaborated on a track called "Street Addiction." "Street Addiction" ended up being the promotional song for a hood documentary DVD titled "Street Addiction" that gave viewers a insight on real life hood activities that ranged from underground music artist showcasing their talents to your everyday hustler telling u what goes on everyday on the neighborhood's streets.....Once the track reached the public ears it became a huge success.....Once Rel and Buck seen how successful the track "Street Addiction" was they decided to come up with their own label and start hitting the booth heavy....Rel and Buck joined Rise and became members of "The Mayhem Family." Once they became part of the "Mayhem Family" they collaborated on many successful tracks and begin working on their own music....The first single that Rel and Buck put out in the streets was titled "Shorty Ova There." The track not only created a frenzy in the local neighborhood but had heads bopping in other hoods as well.....Rel and Buck then hit the streets with there first actual mixtape titled "Durtroad Productions Presents The First Time Felons." The mixtape was successful so they brought fellow hood friends "Goode" and "Official" to the unsigned label and started working on numerous projects....As of now "Goode" & "Official" is off handeling some business, Rel is up in MD working on his next mixtape titled "The Dukes of Hazard", promoting Durtroad Productions music heavy and done started a internet/street promotional squad called "The Durtroad Gang". Buck is currently in VA making beats recording tracks and working on other numerous projects....When Rel was questioned about the strength of his fellow label partners and upcoming projects for this year he said; "Durtroad Productions and Mayhem is a family.....I feel that we're just as good as nebody else that's already signed.....One day a label will realize it, but until then the music is just gonna have to speak for itself....We have fans that support us to the fullest and that's all we really need right now if u ask me....."
