Here are some of my favorite fantasy and sci-fi books of all time. This is quite an eclectic collection, but they are all very good in my opinion. Click on the book covers for the Amazon link and read their summary and ratings : )
There are many people that I consider to be heros. Many of you are probably heros to your good friends, your children, your parents, and your significant others. Anyone that loves their fellow men and women and helps them out of sincere concern and makes personal sacrifices for them are all HEROS in my book.
But if I have to list a few heros, then I will start with the Lord God and his Son. If people would actually FOLLOW Christ's example instead of MIS-INTERPRETING him in 50 billion ways - Earth would be so much more tolerable. I am Christian but I am NOT a 'pious radical fundamentalist'. We all make mistakes - even the best of us - and the first step to REDEMPTION is to realize this about our nature. If you do not believe this concept, then you must not have seen the news lately or picked up a history book. We are fallen creations.
My Mom and Dad are my heros. They were both from the World War II era and they taught me the values and beliefs that I hold true to this day. I am thankful for having them as parents.
And remember:
