About Me

i like nice things. i don't like things that suck. - bavaria is fucking beautiful- more later on wild boars, nazi townlife, and castles and kuchen- ps this is ridiculously outdated hey so i was going to leave it at that but people keep writing asking what i've been up to and i don't know how to post a blurb or whatever. i found a dog on new year's day last year that kind of changed my life for better and sometimes worse his name's ciano and we've been driving around the country for the last six months or so together. he likes kitties with a little salt and maybe some pepper and has the whole male pitbull with balls thing going on so it's kind of like walking with a loaded gun. a usually nice, sweet, cute, cuddly, loyal loaded gun. anyways we left austin and went to kentucky, nyc, syracuse, hudson, raked blueberrieswhichisuckat up in maine, crystal clear waters you can see your shadow 40 feet down tho, portland east coast, cranberries, syr. again, beetland, badlandswhere i found dinosaurbones, bozeman, missoula, martin city outside of glacier to visit ariana an mark and unopened baby package, seattle, woodby island for dead injun day(thanks aaron and jeane), portland west coast, the redwood coast(the most religious and awe inspiring thing i've seen in a while), oakland, la, tallahassee, the gulf coast, new orleans, and now back to austin. future possibilities include jewelry school in mexico, spain, croatia(here i come rufioanlena), turkey, hawaii, puerto rico, and waitressing mardi gras. we'll see how much of it i can cram in. before this for all you ot's i haven't seen in a while it's been nola, chattanooga, and austin with various stints to other places and countries. it's been a ball and i was so happy to see some old faces this last time, i can't even begin to describe all the cool shit i've done and seen recently. it's all about national parks in the off season. next time i go to the badlands i want to hike out for a week or so. give me a home where the bison not buffalo you ignorant fuck roam and i'll be happy.

My Interests

some day i would like to spontaniously combust.

Music:

there's no way to even start.

Movies:

Leolo, Disco Pigs, Heavenly Creatures, Bad Karma(bgrade zombie krishnas at a frat party), son of the shark, the beginning of return to oz, all the phantasms, dellicatessen, dario argento's creepers, the death stars trailer, supervan, return to witch mountain, the president's analyst, evil dead 1 & 2, roger rabbit, donnie darko, street trash, angel heart, city of lost children, withnailandi, twilight of the cockroaches, gadjo dilo, shit i can't think right now.

Television:

no, ok there was this one show my best friend had tapes of that was a danish hospital series called the kingdom that had psychic down syndrome dishwashers in it oh yeah and the young ones.

Books:

this summer i tried to comprise a list of books that meant a lot to me when i was a kid and this is what i came up with but it only goes up to about 6th grade or so. madeline l'engles' a wrinkle in time quadrilly, the hounds of the morrigan, the neverending story and momo by micheal ende, the wizard of earthsea trilogy by ursula leguin, the dark angel, the last unicorn, something wicked this way comes and that story about the girl who gets locked in the closet when the sun comes by ray bradbury, bruce coville's short unicorn story, the OZ books, harrison bergeron, the Changeling, the mural master, any of ruth chew's witchy novels, the old fairies popup book, the chronicles of narnia, the little mermaid and tuck everlasting by natalie babbit, the bridge to terebithia, the witches by roald dahl, dominic, the red amarylis, the lizard men, the black cauldren series, the dark is rising, and john bellairs mysteries. the bigger longer more grown up books that delved into these kinds of things almost inevitably fail to live up to the standards raised by these childhood stories. even their bigboobed airbrushed plasticine sheen covers overrealistically and undercreatively drawn usually sucked. it's like biting into a twinkie that's all fluff and no filling. i can go back to any of these books and be completely happy all over again. most recently i think blood meridian by cormac mcarthy is pretty mindblowing.
