Intelligent, enlightened people who have good taste in music, TV and films...Pop-culture junkies...Educated people who can articulate a sentence and use punctuation and good grammar... People who aren't addicted to their Sidekicks and I-Phones and actually talk to people, not text them...people who are of strong stock, have integrity and are friends in for the long haul...people who have a thick skin and aren't afraid of a little criticism...people who'll accept a favor from a person who wants to help them 'cause it makes him feel good...people who don't mind talking a lot - and listening a lot...stand-up people who tell me when I'm fucking up and won't shy away or freak out when I return the favor...people that are world-travelled and cultured and know there's an entire world beyond the cushy confines of their own block...people with passion and drive and creativity and who want something better out of life and aren't afraid to take a risk to get it, not just space-taker-uppers...People who are understanding and compassionate and put themselves before others...people who are tough and yet gentle, strong and yet kind, firm and yet open-minded, cynical and yet positive, ambitious and yet warm, sane and yet spontaneous, self-critical and yet confident.Painting by D.W. Not much of a bookworm. Last books read: "Lost Hollywood" by David Wallace. Also been going back & forth between "Heroes & Villains" - a Beach Boys Biography and a great book about Punk Rock called, interestingly enough, "PUNK" by Stephen Colgrave and Chris Sullivan. You should read it - then maybe you'd stop listening to fucking Green Day, for Christ's sake.
-Are not people who get paid bazillions to dribble a rubber ball down a wooden floor in a gigantic, air-conditioned, Multi-Million-Dollar Arena - they're Policemen, Firemen, Soldiers, Teachers and anyone with the balls to to stand up to the legions of idiots & assholes that plague our existence. Don't let people push you around. Fight back. Don't puss out.I raise my Flagon of mead to thee!HUZZAH!
