Sounds Like: some nxt level business...'SPAROWORLDS' ONE...THE MIXTAPE...
After selling out within days first time around, this finally gets the repress! Sparo Worlds is almost like listening to the history of hip-hop and breakbeat right from its dawn. DJ/Producer Sparo delivers 40 chopped up tracks, with a multitude of interludes, showcasing exclusive and existing Sparo tunes, mixed with wild B-movie, sci-fi and classic hip-hop refrains, breakbeats and samples. Theres enough material here for a quiz show, with a multitude of influences and sources blended together in a non-stop, one-hour mix. Highlights are many, but busting tracks arrive from Caveman (Victory), Mr Lif (Ft Edan) (Get Wise 91), Sparos very own Bullit (Old School Remix), and lest we forget the mighty James Brown (I Feel Good). De La Soul, The Incredible Bongo Band, Sly & The Family Stone, Gangstarr, Anti Pop Consortium, and (errrrm) Joe Cocker are also thrown into the mix with equal abandon, whilst few tracks make the three-minute mark - ensuring Sparo Worlds moves like an express train. A truly eclectic adventure; where hip-hop history meets the future - binded by technology. Sparo Worlds is a trainspotters delight, and the more you dig funk and hip-hop music, the more youll dig this, although its anybodys groove really.
