About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !

This page is maintained by The Unjust. I will write a real bio one of these days. Background photo by Drew Carolan. I remember posing for these pictures outside CBGB in 1984. I never thought I would ever see them. Then through the wonders of Myspace Drew contacted me. Can't believe it was 22 years ago. The Unjust were on 4 records in the 1980's. The last, "Hammerhead" was our debut album. The 3 before that were compilations. From 1983 to 1989 we played CBGB's many times, the A-7 club a few, and many other small venues around NYC and the surrounding areas. We broke up by the late 1980's. I have been in contact with Chris, and I've seen Bruce recently. I have not seen Joe T in over 10 years. I am just keeping the memory of The Unjust alive. Thanks for stopping by. Joe

Influences: A few of our punk influences were the Exploited, The Misfits, The UK Subs, The Sex Pistols, The Anti Nowhere League, Black Flag, The Dead Kennedy's, Minor Threat, The Clash, The Ramones, And later when we started to sound more metal, Slayer, and Exodus to just name a couple. We all grew up listening to acid rock, and we also listened to a lot of Blues. I'm sure there are many more, but it's late and I can't think of anymore right now.
