Especially Sci-Fi, Action/Adventure, Comedy (even Sci-Fi-action-adventu-comedies... Star Wars, anyone?), Horror, Black Comedy, British Comedy, old spy films (007), art-house films, John Hughes, George Lucas (for a while I refused to accept his calls for refusing to put the original theatrical releases of the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD, but he's since heeded the outcry. Woohoo!), Stephen Spielberg, David Lynch (still trying to wrap my head around "Mulholland Drive"), Clive Barker, Ridley Scott, etc.
I like 'em scary, gross, cheesy, geeky, intelligent and funny. Now is that too much to ask?
Television:
I don't watch much television unless certain shows or movies are on. I'm a sucker for various types of movies, and can waste a helluva lot of time watching them.
Heroes:
Cookie Monster, creative people, fun people who find pleasure in the simple as well as the complex things in life. There are a lot of musicians that I follow and admire (see above list), but only a handful qualify for "Hero" status. One in particular is very worthy of the title, but would never accept the crown, and that's part of why I admire him.
