About Me

Born in Chicago and then moved to South Carolina when I was 10. Got hitched in 2002 and we relocated to Kansas and love it! I know alot about people....sometimes more than I would like.I can usually be found in my craft room, on the computer working with photoshop, or out dancing. No kids, but two cats and that's plenty....

Music:

I am a bit bipolar when it comes to music. I love 1940s-50s hillbilly, rockabilly (traditional to Neo) , honky tonk, western swing and a little swing. Fav bands include: BR549 , Deke, Darrel Higham, Buck Stephens, Dave and Deke and Barnshakers (too many to list).

At the same time I love synthpop, 80s (DURAN DURAN), some techno, new wave, new romantic and even some of the new stuff around ( The Faint, Bravery, Dandy Warhols, Iris, and Kaiser Chiefs) . Basically,I love anything you can dance to.

Movies:

Comedy, comedy and more comedy. Classic movies ( Marx Brothers, Fred & Ginger). Indie Films ( Hedwig and Ghost World ) . John Hughes movies and 50s rnr delinquent movies. Especially the ones with lots of dancing!

Television:

HGTV (once you buy a house it is like porn). Reno 911, South Park, News Radio and Queer Eye. You know good wholesome stuff. Any music history documentary or VH1 special are also faves.

Books:

50s catalogs, 50s design and decorating, music history, some biographies, Douglas Addams, Tom Robbins, Carl Hiaasen, Jane and Michael Stern's pop culture books. Old true detective magazines fascinate me for some reason.
