MUSIC!!! Um....musical instruments, singing, playing drums, listening to music; psychology, sociology, anthropology, linguistics (etymology) and politics. Also, history, the law, reading, school, being active and working out a lot, turner classic movies, film (i.e. psychological thrillers like vertigo, comedies like bringing up baby); Art deco style architecture and furniture, 1930s, 1940s & 1950s fashion/furniture (midcentury modern), lighthouses, art, old cars, the inner workings of the human brain accompanied by sociological experiments. Yep there's more........I like to hang out with my friends, and of course, love dancing. I love staying home too, watch a movie, and just relax.
People who have something witty to say, can make me laugh, or, have something interesting to talk about, love dancing, dig old cars, antiques, old films/actors, or, have great music to play!
I couldn't possibly mention the broad spectrum of music I've heard, like and love, or I'd never leave this computer. Here is an idea of what I will listen to........50s rock n roll, western swing, jump blues, hillbilly, honky tonk, bluegrass, country/roots; pyschobilly, doowop, blues, big band, classical, ska, new wave, industrial, early techno, synthpop, new romantic, old punk rock, and surf/garage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My feet always tappin', my heart always beatin', my feet always kickin' n jivin' to the rockin' tunes and somtimes slowin' to moody blues. Psychological thillers and suspense, film noir, 1930s screwball comedies/1930s ganster films(Edward G. Robinson & James Cagney), some modern comedies-love Will Ferrell. The Thin Man Series and anything and everything with Bette Davis.So, basically I dig silent films to early 60s, then, 80s films- John Hughes, some John Waters to present.Directors/producers I especially appreciate include: William Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock, Howard Hughes, John Huston, Vincente Minelli, George Cukor, David O. Selznick and Howard Hawks to name a few.....
