No matter where I am the music comes through.

About Me

Hailed as the “best unsigned songwriter in Nashville” Travis Woodruff is determined to make his mark in the Country Music Industry.
Growing up, Travis Woodruff had a favorite hobby…music. Luckily for him, and for us, it was a hobby that became a career.
The musical path for Travis Woodruff began and continues to be one of dedication and hard work. His writing reflects his musical influences: Bob Wills, Louis Armstrong, Neil Diamond, Charlie Rich, Ian Anderson and Clint Black it corroborates his love for music as a form with no boundaries.
His knowledge of the music industry combined with the experience of owning his own nightclub and restaurant venue makes him a formidable man with a mission. Ga Dang, formerly on 94 Peabody Street in Nashville, is where Travis set forth to help other artists showcase their talents by offering songwriter nights at his former club.
This talented young man has been sought after by big names in the Music City. Warner Chappell and Warner Brothers have shown interest in him as a writer. As of yet, he is still deciding which way to pursue his writing career.
Travis has written with the best! Byron Hill; Universal, Giles Godard; Curb, Jeff Stevens; formerly of Full Circle Music are some of his writing friends. Similarly, with Jason Krupek; Big Tractor Music believing in Travis there is no telling how far he can and will go.
Some of his music co-written with others is in catalogs at Universal. He has recorded at Warner. Requested to play at the Wild Horse for Nashville Star. He is a man in demand!

Influences: Too many to mention, but I'll give it a shot. From a young age my mother forced me to listen to the most incredible music I've ever heard. Artist's like Charlie Rich, Ray Price and Elvis, just to name a few. As I got older my music tastes broadened to include the sounds of Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) Louis Armstrong, and Neil Diamond. I have also gained a wealth of knowledge listening to Hank Williams, Clint Black and The Alman Brothers. To say the least, my influences go from one extreme to the other. From the Bluesiest blues to the Rockinest rock to the Countriest country.
