When you see her perform you are immediately captivated by the sincerity and power in her vocals, the warmth of her presence, and her love for the stage. Meghan Linsey is not just another singer, she is an entity all her own.Meghan's music journey begins in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she was born. At a very young age she began to sing, make up songs, and dance around the house. She performed at church, in the car, in talent shows, at parties, anywhere anyone would listen.In 2001 fifteen year old Meghan headed to Emerald Studios in Nashville to record her debut CD "This Is Now". She also formed a band and began to play festivals, and concerts including opening for great country acts such as, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Travis Tritt, Blake Shelton, Gary Alan, and others. Meghan also showcased at the Bluebird Cafe in 2002, 2003, 2004 for the Nashville New Music Conference (2NMC).Meghan has grown tremendously in the past few years, devoting as much time as possible to her music. One of her greatest passions is songwriting, and she has penned several songs since the recording of her first album. Meghan's heart beats music and she will not give up on her dream. She moved to Nashville in 2004 to sing, write, and work on her music career. She also has hopes to record a new cd in the near future. The future holds great things for Meghan Linsey....who knows what will happen, but no matter what, she will definitely find her place in country music.
