About Me

Tamerlane are a five piece, Hampshire-based rock band with a sound both intelligent and epic. The band's love of contrast is prevalent in the music: the deceptively sweet vocals often carry dark undertones as the music effortlessly flits from delicate string arrangements to squealing guitar solos and crushing bass-driven riffs.
Tamerlane are naturally at home on stage and are experienced live performers. Their magnetic gigs across the South-East of England show their enormous technical ability, their showmanship and their love for what they do.
Since forming in the winter of 2004, Tamerlane have constantly been creating and evolving, and will continue to do so. Each member is a highly proficient musician and keen songwriter with their own distinctive style and influences; it is this that creates the variety and contrast we see in Tamerlane's music and performances.
2007 will see a massive increase in recorded material from the band now that they have gained the required skills and equipment necessary for them to record, mix and master their own material.
