About Me

This 20 year old Australian, born in Singapore and raised in the heart of Surrey, England, started singing when she was 3 and has never stopped.Surrounded by troubadours, she has followed in the footsteps of her mentors, travelling the world and continually being challenged by global issues and cultural differences.Gabrielle has accompanied Sue Rinaldi (songwriter, author and teacher) to a Tamil conference in Switzerland addressing integration into Western youth culture and a YWAM conference in Australia concerning women’s issues, and has attended a conference at the UN in New York on the Millennium Development Goals as the youth representative for a British ngo (non governmental organisation). Her songs mainly reflect issues of love and friendship but her more recent lyrics incorporate the injustices of the world around her.Currently at King’s College London, she is teaming up with guitarist and songwriter Joe Tandy and percussionist Jon Haines. Together they produce a clean and unique acoustic sound which is warmly welcomed by the pub scene and universities in London. They look to record together in the summer. Pink Flower myspace layout
