Born from the ashes of various different bands, StompEngine incorporates a broad spectrum of musical influences...shying away from the traditional genre labels & forging their own niche...the group was founded by Boo Hawkins (guitar), Shawn Nix (Drums),and Chris Wakulik(Bass) who had been frustrated by the lack of creative spark in their former project...the search for a vocalist became a frustrating and tedious task, just when it seemed like a lost cause, an interesting proposition presented itself...not one but two vocalists anxious for a new beginning Curt McElhaney & Mike Hreczkosiej jumped at the opportunity and it has proven to be a perfect fit; the bands music turns itself on a dime, dynamically changing bright melody/harmonies into the 2nd coming of the devil....blurring the lines between genres and the norm
