As family members often recount, Anja was humming tunes far before she could even talk. The musical toddler, born and raised in the Austrian Tyrolean region, sang her way into the ears and hearts of anyone who would listen to her sweet voice. At her Church, many did hear the five-year old - to their everlasting delight. A fading old cassette tape recording of Anja singing at the age of 6 captures the young girl reaching for, and easily attaining the precise notes. Since those childhood days, song has been an integral part of Anja's life.
At the age of six, two seminal events occurred: For one, she began to learn how to play guitar. Anja also firmly announced to her family that she would one day go to America, where she predicted she would become a singer. That clear goal is one that never left the girl, soon teenager, and now young woman.
European record labels such as BMG and Sony (Europe) came knocking at the Tyrolean address with contracts. But Anja stuck fast to her childhood prediction preferring to seek her good fortune on American shores. Anja, who enjoys an Austrian, Spanish and Asian heritage, has also completed a two-year dance study at the famous "Broadway Dance Center" in NYC.
Anja's growing audiences have also become more sophisticated and diverse.

+ Anja was interviewed and sang on live radio reaching 100 million people in Asia, the Middle East and Australia. (Interview by 'Trey' on Rupert Murdoch 'Channel V')
+ Anja sang a duet called "Hanome" with the famous Greek singer Notis Sfakianakis. The song was released on his latest album which reached multiple platinum status.
+ Anja's song "Bringing ou the best in me" (co-written with Jeff Cohen) was featured in the WB television series "Jack & Jill" starring Amanda Peet.
+ Anja sang the song "Do anything" for the animated television series "Simsala Grimm" produced by Greenlight Media and BMG Ariola
+ Just recently Anja sang a charity concert for the SOS-village in Botswana, Africa and gave concerts India and Thailand.
+ Anja sang for King Konstantin and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece in January 2004, as well as for their two sons Prince Pavlos and Prince Nikolaos. (Anja was honored when the King asked her to sing another song).
+ In February Mexican owner of Radio Centro in Mexico City, Mr. Francisco Aguirre, offered Anja a chance to record an album in Mexico.
+ The movie, Bombay Dreams, features a main character song entitled 'Falling Apart'. Anja both wrote and sang the song for the movie and soundtrack.
+ Swedish singer "Darin" recorded Anja's song "Why does it rain" (co-written with Jorgen Elofsson) for his platinum selling album "The Anthem". The song is getting massive airplay and has already reached gold status as a single.
+ Anja just finished recording George Duke's song "Soon" for Gerald McCauley's album. The song also features India Arie, Shanice and Jonathan Butler. The album also includes incredible artists such as Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg, and many more....
