DJ / producer / remixer and Miami-resident, Mike Mucci has been behind an assortment of well known monikers spanning several sub-genres within the dance music community. From DJ staples like "THE DOOR" (under the name Circuit Boy) and Da Mooch's "THAT'S WHAT IT IS," to Billboard charting hits "I'M TALKIN' TO YOU" and "I GOT A MAN" by Shampale Cartier, Mucci has has been racking up kudos from fellow jocks and producers all over the world with a sound that deftly combines influences of a classic, garage house background with a cutting-edge, progressive sound thickly layered with elements past, present and future. His newest ventures as Evolved & Da Freeks include Al Camara of Obadam fame. Camara's remix credits include Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan and Paulina Rubio just to nake a few.
AMPLITUDE RECORDINGS is home to Mucci & Camara's sound and is an outlet to showcase more of their own originals as well as up-and-coming local and global talent fitting the "Evolved" sound. From releases like Michael M's "Dear Diary" & "The Beat" to the duo's down and dirty remake of Nitzer Ebb's "Control, I'm Here" under their newest moniker, Da Freeks, Amplitude has big plans for the future of dance music.
In addition to a heavy production and remix schedule, Mike still logs time in the trenches. A veteran behind the turntables, he brings his unique club and studio experience together using the latest technology to create seamless, pumping journeys into house for dance floors across the globe. His Frequency and WMC parties on South Beach have been the brightest spot in Miami for new music trends and special guests.
