Dj Groovy

My next release on Knob Records is coming out in June.
It's called Musica Um and comes with 3 diferent mixes to please all crouds.
The original is an electro affair, the Pumpin mix is pure dancefloor mayhem, and then there's the Deep-R version for a more chilled vibe.
Out now on Knob Records is my new original "End of the New World". It has 2 versions: Plus and Minus. Minus is more on the... er, minimal side while the Plus mix is more full on, big room type.
The release features remixes from Dj Style, Tribalishious and Christian Paduraru.
"Minus Mix" - Steady pumping hi hats and sharp switching claps set this tune in 4th gear right from the start. The track suddenly drops then takes off with some of the most horrifying after-hours hall stabs. The percussion is filtered and crisp with dj friendly in's and out's. A peak track for a worthy crowd.
"Plus Mix" - Deep penetrating grooves that reach the soul in a catchy way. The synths are wide and wet leading into a natural breakdown that is quite captivating. The melody is vibrant and sweeps the flow upwards into the whole composition. A final buildup creates a second wind and the magic is everywhere.

I play mainly progressive, tribal, electro, techy or deep house music, even some techno or breaks, anything with strong quality.
I've been dj'ing in several clubs & parties as a freelancer for 10 years, and years ago I started taking an interest in music production, and now have a number of signed releases, on labels Inner Rhythm, 4 Stroke, Kitsam Records, Sound Tribe & Knob Records.

I have signed a new track, Big Night Out to Hoshi Digital. It's a peak time big room floor filler, my best work yet. Hoshi is a label that belongs to reknown artist Mastiksoul, with releases by Tony Thomas, Alan Barrat and more. More details soon.

I have signed my track Barrido de Filtrado to 4 Stroke Records. It's a tech house track with a groovy bassline, in your face hats and good old filter tweeking, in 2 versions, original and alternative. Next week it will be on sale on all the good stores such as Beatport, AudioJelly, TrackitDown, PlayitTonight, iTunes, etc. You can listen to it here on my page.

Thanks to all of you who voted and bought my remix of X-Press 2. Thanks a lot! We didn't quite make it to number 1, but since this is not a popularity contest, but a music contest, we did make it to a final shortlist of mixes to be listened and maybe picked up by Ashley, Rocky and Diesel themselves... Keep your fingers crossed!

Today my original track Booming Bassline was released by Inner Rhythm Records. It's available at first exclusively at Magnetic Grooves and you can listen to it and buy it there. You can also listen to it here first. This is what the label says about it: "Underground house record, with amazing pads on top and one big hook melody that can make this record into a summer anthem!!!"
I can add that it's progressive, dark and powerful, for the late hours of the night :)

Booming Basline's release date is set: 14nd of September.
Available first at Magnetic Grooves as an exclusive, and on other stores after some time. Supporting this track allready are: Matthew Hiscock, Slacker, Dj Cass, Dan Magan, Dj Bart, Hector Romero, Jan Langer, and it's currently n.1 on Dj Rollo's top 10.

I am working on a dub mix of Leave Me a Message, more percussive and dancefloor-friendly to join the more clubby original. Support is coming from the likes of David Christopher, Pete Gooding, Jan Langer, Dj Samer, Steve Active, Leigh Morgan , Jevne Miller and Saeed Younan.

I have also finished my third original track, called Barrido de Filtrado. This 'bomb' is a tech-house old-school tinged groovy prog chuggy dancefloor monster! Allready signed up (i just can..t tell you with whom yet, few details missing), and boasting two mixes. This has allready been doing the rounds on dancefloors around the globe and geting awesome reactions! Being played by the likes of Luca Ricci, Moshic, Todd Dutkevitch, Mike Mucci and Jamez! More details soon.

On the remix front, i've finished my version of Starecase - Vapour Trails. It's a very sexy remix, that takes some elements from the original, adds a few of my own and takes it to a completely new direction. One for the ladies! My remix of X-Press 2 - Kill 100 is also finished. I think it turned out great, has the original feel with myy personal touch and a huge breakdown wich i think will go on greatly. More remixes are on the works or planned to the future, so more news about it soon.
