MAUREL & FAUVRELLE are undoubtedly one of the greatest revelations of the actual Portuguese dance music scene. The two producers, with their hits rising through the world charts and with the support of some of the prestigious names of dance music, managed to go from mere unknown to famous performers of tricked tribal and contagious House Music made in Portugal.
After releasing the massive "Real World" as the 4Toasters on Twisted America, Maurel & Fauvrelle were spotted by Erick Morillo to produce some stylish and unique tunes on Subliminal/Sondos. Therefore invitations for remix work started to be a daily routine, and the duo signed some slamming remixes for Steve Lawlers Harlems, Distraekt, Skint/Loaded, Twisted, Kaos, Tao and their own label Lajja Recordings.
All the major community soon supported Maurel & Fauvrelle productions, which then became one of Tom Stefan's (aka Superchumbo) favourite production/remixing teams, but also Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Dj Vibe, Vitor Calderone, among many others.
Maurel & Fauvrelle performing live, its an impressive sound battle with 4 turntables, 4 cd decks, 2 mix tables, samplers and fx process ... giving the audience an unpredictable and intense sound collage with loops, bootlegs, edits and hypnotic-charged basses that transport the crowd close to heaven or hell.
Now between new projects and remixes that will rock, alongside with their world respected Lajja Recordings, the sun will shine even stronger!
