First off, we are NOT a band!
We are BELLYACHE RECORDS, a division of THE BELLYACHE CANDY SHOPPE! We release CD's & 7" Singles from Michigan Based bands. In May of 2006, we released our first compilation CD, "The Sweet Sounds Of Detroit Volume 1" which had proven to be a great success for us. Soon after in September, we released a CD Single from the GRANDE NATIONALS for the track "Kill The Lights" with the Non-LP Track "Us Against Them" on the b-side. We topped off the year with the debut full length from the Grande Nationals entitled "Brass Knuckle Heartbreak", a totally Rock 'N' Roll album for fans of bands like AC/DC, THE RAMONES, THE MC-5, ALICE COOPER & THE HELLACOPTERS!
In October of 2007 we took on the massive undertaking of releasing a 2 CD Halloween compilation, "GHOUL'S DELIGHT! A MONSTER PARTY RECORD!" which featured 33 newly penned halloween tunes by some of Detroits finest like THE HENTCHMEN, FORTUNE & MALTESE, THE DEWTONS, SERENITY COURT, EONS, THE KOFFIN KATS, THE BEGGARS and MANY MORE!
Now it's 2008 and we just released a Very Limited Edition European Tour 7 Inch Single from the GORE GORE GIRLS. What else is in store for this year? CD's from SCARLET OAKS, THE DEWTONS & the GRANDE NATIONALS, 7 inch singles from THE GO, THE HENTCHMEN, THE MULDOONS & THE MUGGS. And last but not least, THE SWEET SOUNDS OF DETROIT VOLUME TWO!
