You Can't Keep a Good Dick Down!

About Me

Guitarist Mark Campbell and Bassist Charlie Francuch were Mid 70's Junior High hooligans that knew they were onto something good. In the early 80's, along with Drummer Matt Bucher they formed See Dick Run. In 1988 Vocalist Jim Edwards joined. The foursome soon became the darlings of Detroit; a pop song powerhouse that enjoyed many years writing, recording, and playing it's brand of addictive, three-minute pills, to throngs of devoted fans, affectionately refered to as "Dick-heads".

Band Members: Mark Campbell-Guitar Charlie Francuch-Bass Jim Edwards-Vocals Randy Gacki-DrumsWith remarkable similarity to Spinal Tap, See Dick Run has had three drummers in it's long history. It wouldn't seem right not to pay tribute to the men who were partially responsible for making See Dick Run what it is today.Matt Bucher - Childhood friend and Original Drummer - was injured by flying splinters from his sticks and is enjoying a medical retirement, compliments of the See Dick Run medical plan.Eric Mikich - Also a childhood friend played in many famous Detroit bands such as Phunhogg, Seven-thousand dying rats.
Influences: The Beatles, Squeeze, Elvis Costello, XTC, Todd Rundgren, Nick Lowe, Crowded House.
Sounds Like: If there truly is a Detroit sound, See Dick Run doesn't have it. I'm sure on some level they WISH they knew, or had the elusive Deeeetroit sound, but they just don't have it. As thousands of fans over the years can attest; not everybody can sound like Iggy, Bob Seger, Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, or the MC5......thank God!
