About Me
Brian Cheetham has been a driving force in the world of Electronica for over a decade.
From beginnings in his home-town of Manchester (UK) playing at legendary clubs Hacienda and Paradise Factory he has nurtured a passion for his music and the people that appreciate that is hard to rival. Cheetham's motto "Djs should be heard and not seen" carries across in his sets, he's not content until the floor are absorbed deep in the music, teasing them with accapellas, loops and techniques, all with a smoothness and preciseness that has astounded some of the biggest names in dance.
His love of the music directed him towards a career in radio whilst playing the clubs across the north of England, he worked up the ladder of 'GalaxyFM' to become Programme Coordinator (The guy behind the Dj’s and the music), from where he was head hunted to develop Ministry of Sounds international Radio Department. He moved ‘darn sarf’ and mixed, produced & developed Ministry of Sound FM radio shows for four years winning awards along the way.
Brian now directs ‘Global Dance Session’ and his show is aired on many countries across the world on FM each and every week. On his Dj travels he has visited the USA, Canada, Russia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Bosnia, Slovenia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Holland, Spain, Dubai and of course all over the UK. It's due for release on FullBodySoundSystem recordings and will be available on Beatport & I-tunes. It has already lead to a good flow of remix offers he's trying to fit in to his busy schedule whilst focusing on his own releases between Radio shows and Dj appearances.
