Beyond Eden Party!Tonight was one of the busiest nights I've ever encountered at Charles Street Club... a queue stretching around the corner! Religion is well on the way for a massively successful summer.The themed décor was fabulous... grapes hanging from the ceiling in this Garden of Eden paradise, and that big snake that tempted Eve... not the only temptation for many tonight I'm sure!Well done to the Brighton Men's Gay Chorus for their unique performance of modern pop classics - from Madonna to Kylie! Brave of the Religion team to try new ideas and help keep the Brighton scene fresh.We're looking forward to the new Religion Sunday Service with new up'n'coming local DJs and 'extras'!?Religon has set the scene for the summer! will you be a saint and attend or be a sinner!? 'Twas four nights before Christmas and all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse... why? They were all out at Charles Street for Christmas Mad Cow and the Religion Ice party!Well, where better for a festive drink than this hugely popular Thursday nighter - especially when it's one of their themed parties! Tonight we were treated to fantastic sets from DJs Richard Jones, Hollie and Tony B - each bringing their own inimitable style to the proceedings.Themed as the Ice party, tonight's event had both the appropriate festiveness and décor which had clearly had much thought, time and energy put into it. The club was adorned with icicles, snowflakes and appropriately coloured lasers and lighting, as well as hosting icy performers and dancers - all of which made for another amazing night from Ben and his team!...........Review by TIM NASH from www.realbrighton.comEverything was white and sparkly!Tall, white winged god-like creatures ushered the mostly local crowd into the club: Crosses, silver stars, hoops, hearts, white cloth and disco balls covered the place, definitely the best ‘church’ I’ve ever been in!Judging by the number of empty bottles and glasses collecting on and around every table, the genuinely cheap drinks went down a treat. Later on, our gods from outside returned with glowing spinning stick things for some back breaking antics on the stage!Consider us converted.From PARTY to PARTY.......In the beginning God created.............
