The latest track recorded by “Dave Dark and the Sharks†(Man Alone) features spoken word from the legend that is Tom Robinson of War Baby and 2468 Motorway fame. Tom Kindly agreed to this reading after Dave threatened him at gunpoint, yet another night in the cells ensued.â€Dave Dark and the Sharks†have recently been working with the group “Hush Collector†in remixing the song “Mountain Songâ€. Progress appeared to be going very well with Rich mainly working on the production, until what can only be described as a very ugly scene broke out. Needless to say this culminated in Dave Dark chasing the Hush Collector ladies through The Lanes in Brighton “Benny Hill Stylie†late one night until the police eventually cornered him in The Cricketers public house and took him away by helicopter.2007 has already got off to a rather rocky start with Dave Dark AGAIN being taken away by the police for involvement in a suspected forgery racket, this time it was music forgery! The first exhibit the police got hold of what was supposedly “the missing piece†from William Orbits “Pieces in a Modern Style†album. This exhibit “Zadok the Priest†was available for perusal (and download) on the “Dave Dark and the Sharks†MySpace page until the fraud squad intervened; it may reappear at a later date when Dave is out "working".Newly released (unlike Mr Dark) is the second single by Dave Dark and the Sharks "I’ve Resigned". In readiness for the imminent time travelling gig, Dave Dark has precured a TARDIS for the event (a really fast one to aid police evasion). The design is similar to that owned by The Doctor except it is a newer model. It can be found currently "parked" on Scarborough Sea front in readiness for the "trip" (see photo below). Having given the TARDIS a trial run earlier Dave Dark discovered a problem with the dimensional integrator circuitry, This has obvoiusly prevented the scheduled "trip" on 1st April (all those with tickets have been informed and rest assured, they remain valid for the rescheduled gig; expected to be but still unconfirmed on 21st June).
