For further information please look at my blog or Click Here .Biography: I was born on the 25th December 1976 in Oldenburg (Germany).
As a child i had a strong interest in art, but after listening to a Sally Oldfield record i decided that i had to become a singer/songwriter.
I started writing songs and taking classical guitar lessons (for 3 and a half years) at the age of 15. I spent the following years collecting songs, taking part in several talent contests and doing my exam as a physical therapist (obviously couldn't find a job further away from music). Hundreds of demo tapes, several attempts to join a band and a not really successfull period as a writer on demand later, a friend of mine suggested, i should put some of my songs on a cd and sell it on the net. "Der Himmel auf Erden" was mostly a gift for friends and didn't really sell a lot of copies. In early 2005 i reworked some of the songs, wrote some new ones and released the second album "Flieg kleiner Vogel". Soon independent radio stations took on the record. I started writing new songs and released the Single "Das Kind in mir" in late 2005. Once again the record got some airplay, interviews followed.
I decided to put some more ambition into the next album and spent the next 2 years recording tons of demos. Finally in November 2007 the new album is ready, containing all the songs from the "Das Kind in mir" EP. Recorded at home it has a certain intimate feel to it. Most of the songs deal with social issues like feeling alone in a cold world of egos. Influenced by personal feelings and stories told by friends with some lovesongs thrown into the mix for good measure (actually a friend of mine stated "You can't make an album without lovesongs") the album reflects... me i would say.
