Fred Guggenberger was five years old, when i discovered his parents rock..n roll records and finally jerry lee lewis. In the next years, every musicteacher was leaving the place in panic, when they heard him turning every tune into a wild rockn roll twister. So he stayed back with 24 Music-Lessons in his whole life and teached himself the rest by listening to records and analyzing them to understand. At the age of 16, he listened to Eric Clapton and the blues and so he became infected. A infection, no doctor could heal. Thank god its so :-) He bought a cheap electric guitar from a mail-order-shop and why the other boys were running for the girls, he sat in his room and played guitar until the fell asleep. In the following years, he played with different bands all styles of music: Country with a Countrysinger from texas, reggae with nice people from africa, hard-rock, blues and "with every one that let me on his stage". In two bands he played, a major-deal was in sight. It didn..t came together because of problems inside of this bands, that just started because of "were becoming a majordeal". So he quitted it all and build his own studio to write an record his songs independend from other people moods.
At the moment, Fred ist working on songs for a musical, four songs for a german pop singer, his second Solo Album, and the first Album of Familiar Souls.
Member of GEMA and NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International). Looking for contacts and networking with nice people and creatives like songwriters, lyricists, artists etc..
