Beatrice the dowdy secretary 'Our Man In Havana' 'possibly the worst opera ever written' by Malcom Williamson, Speranza the one in the Hattie Jacques nightie 'Orfeo' 'very early, very difficult opera by Monterverdi in Italian' (both with TCM), Polly Peachum the one who pulls Mack the Knife and takes over his gang 'The Threepenny Opera' 'that show that Mack The Knife comes from', Kimberly Quinn the one who wants to sleep with a blind man, 'David Blunkett: The Musical' 'no really, David Blunkett: The Musical', Madame Butterfly a geisha who kills herself witha big sword, 'Madame Butterfly' 'the one about the geisha who kills herself with a big sword', Josephine the prissy one who sings very high, 'HMS Pinafore' 'The Gilbert and Sullivan one on a boat that sadly doesn't involve pirates', and Fido the Dog in 'Paul Bunyan' 'an opera about gay lumberjacks'. Concert performances include Haydn's Little Organ Mass in London, Gounod's Messe Solonelle in Suffolk, a Christmas concert with the Cheltenham Bach Choir, A Child Of Our Time conducted by Garry Walker.Catharine is currently studying being late for lectures and apologising a lot for a Masters in Opera Performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow her new favourite city.Catharine is a proud member of The Mystery Fax Machine Orchestra, in which she plays double bass and sings.
