Just about everything~I'm a jack of all trades, master of none! I'm still as curious about everything now as I was when I was 2, and I know God can use even someone like me! I love and adore Him with my every breath!
I enjoy homekeeping and puttering around the house,my morning coffee with Jesus, baking, working and sitting in my garden, scrapbooking and beading with my daughters and friends, reading, writing, Bible study, praying, singing, dancing, spending time with God and with my family & friends. Oh, and did I mention my morning coffee?!
In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. ~Psalm 5:3
These are a few of my favorite things~
roses, gardens, cabins & cottages, out-of-the-way country shops, fleamarkets, beaches, the Smoky Mountains, candlelight, praising God, an abundant life in Christ!

YOU!
Jesus is my very best friend
I grew up with music like it was a second language~I've had lots of influences starting with my dad playing his guitar and singing us to sleep to Roger Miller and the Everly Brothers~from Johnny and June Carter Cash (as a girl,I would sit enthralled in front of the tv when they would sing and Johnny would strut around her~still gives me chills!) to the Beatles to Janis Joplin to the Mamas and Papas and on and on. While learning to play flute as a girl, I came to love and appreciate classical music and show tunes as well, and as a teen in the seventies I listened to everything~and still have the 45's to prove it! Some of my favorites now are Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Clint Brown, Tommy Renfro (in my top friends), The Thompsons, Jessica Ruiz (keep your eye out for her!), Will & Crystal Yates, Natalie Grant, Joy Williams, Ross Walters, the Gaithers and all the Homecoming Friends, Riyel (in my top friends), The Carpenters, Keith Green, Earth, Wind & Fire, John Denver, Ella Fitzgerald, Rich Mullins, Jason Upton, Ginger Smith (in my top friends), Karen Wheaton, Todd Agnew, a lot of 50's, 60's & 70's and so, so, so many more I can't possibly name them all! I enjoy all kinds of music from Native American flute to bluegrass to country to classic rock and everything in between, but my favorite is anything that leads me into worship and helps me get my praise on!
The Passion of the Christ, A Beautiful Mind, Walk the Line, The Count of Monte Cristo, Braveheart, the Love Comes Softly series, Coal Miners Daughter, Legends of the Fall, Tombstone, Forrest Gump, Hidalgo, O Brother Where Art Thou, Fried Green Tomatoes, Dances With Wolves, The Perfect Stranger, Last of the Dogmen, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Facing the Giants, The Village, Timechanger, Saving Private Ryan, School of Rock, The Secret Garden, old black and white films, romantic comedies & other chick flicks, musicals, and any Shirley Temple movie!
THE BIBLE~GOD'S HOLY WORD, THE WORD THAT SPEAKS LIFE! Battlefield of the Mind, Believing God, A Heart Like His, Master Potter and Master Potter and the Mountain of Fire, some of the Left Behind books, Heaven, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Practice of the Presence of God, Stepping Heavenward, The Stand, Falling in Love with Jesus, The God Chasers, anything by Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer, Kay Arthur, Elizabeth George, Louisa May Alcott, Edith Wharton, Robert Frost, Luanne Rice, Kristen Hannah, Karen Kingsbury, Rosamunde Pilcher, and Shakespeare. I also enjoy biographies, all kinds of non-fiction, cookbooks, and books about caring for and reaching children with disabilities and/or in special ed programs. Too many to list~I love most genres; I'm a real bookworm!
