She also writes for one of her home town newspapers.She, along with her husband, Terry, are active members of the North Cleveland Church of God (the Headquarters Church) in Cleveland, Tennessee. She is on staff there. She serves as a deaconess in the church. She also serves on the Evangelism Board and is the director of the NCCOG Healing Clinic where healing services are conducted weekly. She is currently serving on the Family Violence Program Advisory Board which is an emergency safe house shelter for women and their children.
She has had a tremendous miracle in her life. As the glory of the Lord came upon her, she was delivered from paralyzing panic attacks, fear of death, major clinical depression, and the hurt of childhood sexual abuse, which was the root of her bondage. She has been delivered from taking 150 tranquilizers and 100 antidepressants a month. She has also had a near 100 pound weight loss as a result of the weight of the glory of the Lord coming upon her.
