About Me

The LORD is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh! {Joel 2, Acts 2}. We are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of His house, and He gives us drink from the river of His delights! {Psalm 36} How far will you go with Him~ankle-deep? Knee-deep? {Ezekiel 47} We're cleansed with the washing of water by the Word {Ephesians 5:26}. JESUS has the voice like the sound of many waters {Revelation 1:15} and JESUS is our Shepherd, who leads us beside the still waters {Psalm 23} and guides us to the springs of the waters of life {Revelation 7:17}! He's saying, "To the thirsty I [Myself] will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of Life {Rev. 21:6}...Come! And let him who hears say, Come! And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely!" {Rev. 22:17} LET'S TURN ON EVERY LOVE-LIGHT IN THE PLACE!!! RELEASING THE GLORY (used with permission of the artist) www.arleenhuffman.com This picture represents those who are being altogether purified by the Truth.Allowing the Word to do a deep work, no matter how painful, these vessels will release a glorious, new, life giving water into the world. As the woman applies the Word of God to her life, she actually is swallowing the Sword of the Spirit, which is sharper than any two edged sword. No longer just words on her lips, she feels the blade dividing her soul and spirit as it judges the thoughts and attitudes of her heart. It cuts through her leafy garments representing her carnal nature. She is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom she must give an account. As she yields to the refining process, her hair becomes a glorious white mane, signifying purity and righteousness. The piercing of her heart has been a bloody ordeal, but as promised, out of her belly flows pure, unpolluted rivers of living water! While painting this picture, a prophetic word came forth that God is weighing in the Scales of Justice, His prophets and the Word of Truth. He is bringing a process of maturity and accountability to His prophetic ministers. As He establishes His nature within, His Seers will release a pure and undefiled Word giving new life and instruction to the body of Christ as well as to the Kingdoms of the world. © Arleen Huffman 2005 www.arleenhuffman.com PSALM 84How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God!Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you. SelahBlessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.Hear my prayer, O LORD God Almighty; listen to me, O God of Jacob. SelahLook upon our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one.Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you. WAIT and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing]. ~Isaiah 55:1 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost. ~Revelation 22:17 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands. I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah! ~Psalm 143:5-6 Blind eyes will be opened, deaf ears unstopped, Lame men and women will leap like deer, the voiceless break into song. Springs of water will burst out in the wilderness, streams flow in the desert. Hot sands will become a cool oasis, thirsty ground a splashing fountain. Even lowly jackals will have water to drink, and barren grasslands flourish richly. ~Isaiah 35:5-7 You visit the earth and saturate it with water; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; You provide them with grain when You have so prepared the earth. You water the field's furrows abundantly, You settle the ridges of it; You make the soil soft with showers, blessing the sprouting of its vegetation. You crown the year with Your bounty and goodness, and the tracks of Your [chariot wheels] drip with fatness. The [luxuriant] pastures in the uncultivated country drip [with moisture], and the hills gird themselves with joy.The meadows are clothed with flocks, the valleys also are covered with grain; they shout for joy and sing together!~Psalm 65:9-13 (amplified)Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. ~Jeremiah 20:9

My Interests

Let us fix our eyes on JesusI'm just a simple girl from the cornfields of Ohio who loves Jesus with all her heart! I'm interested in just about everything~I'm a jack of all trades, master of none! I'm still as curious about everything now as I was when I was 2, and I know God can use even someone like me! I love and adore Him with my every breath!I enjoy homekeeping and puttering around the house,my morning coffee with Jesus, baking, working and sitting in my garden, scrapbooking and beading with my daughters and friends, reading, writing, Bible study, praying, singing, dancing, spending time with God and with my family & friends. Oh, and did I mention my morning coffee?!

In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. ~Psalm 5:3

These are a few of my favorite things~ roses, gardens, cabins & cottages, out-of-the-way country shops, fleamarkets, beaches, the Smoky Mountains, candlelight, music, praising God, an abundant life in Christ!

For God has not called us to impurity but to consecration [to dedicate ourselves to the most thorough purity]. ~1 Thessalonians 4:7 (amp) Sitting before the Master, hanging on His every word...His words are spirit, and they are life! (Luke 10:39 & John 6:63)

HEAL ME, O LORD, AND I SHALL BE HEALED; SAVE ME, AND I SHALL BE SAVED: FOR THOU ART MY PRAISE. ~JEREMIAH 17:14

I'd like to meet:

But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. ~Galatians 5:22-23 PROPHESY TO THE DRY BONES! SURELY THE LORD IS DOING GREAT THINGS! ~EZEKIEL 37, JOEL 2 Ezekiel 37The Dry Bones Live1 The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.” 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.”’” 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. 9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army! JESUS IS MY VERY BEST FRIEND Beloved, let us love one another; for love is from God. Jesus says~ “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” ~Matthew 18:18-20

Music:

I grew up with music as a second language~I've had lots of influences starting with my dad playing his guitar and singing us to sleep to Roger Miller and the Everly Brothers~from Johnny and June Carter Cash (as a girl,I would sit enthralled in front of the tv when they would sing and Johnny would strut around her~still gives me chills!) to the Beatles to Janis Joplin to the Mamas and Papas and on and on. While learning to play flute as a girl, I came to love and appreciate classical music and show tunes as well, and as a teen in the seventies I listened to everything~and still have the 45's to prove it! Some of my favorites now are Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Clint Brown, Tommy Renfro, The Thompsons, Jessica Ruiz, Will & Crystal Yates, Natalie Grant, Joy Williams, Ross Walters, the Gaithers and all the Homecoming Friends, Riyel, The Carpenters, Keith Green, Earth Wind Fire, John Denver, Ella Fitzgerald, Rich Mullins, Rita Springer, CeCe Winans, Vickie Winans, Jason Upton, Ginger Smith, Karen Wheaton, Todd Agnew, a lot of 50's, 60's & 70's and so, so, so many more I can't possibly name them all! I enjoy all kinds of music from Native American flute to bluegrass to country to classic rock to jazz to blues and everything in between, but my favorite is anything that leads me into worship and helps me get my praise on!

THE BIBLE~GOD'S HOLY WORD, THE WORD THAT SPEAKS LIFE!"It is not hasty reading, but seriously meditating upon holy and heavenly truths, that makes them prove sweet and profitable to the soul. It is not the bee's touching of the flowers that gathers honey, but her abiding for a time upon them and drawing out the sweet. It is not he that reads most, but he that meditates most, that will prove the choicest, sweetest, wisest, and strongest Christian." - AnonymousAnchored In Love, I Walked the Line, Battlefield of the Mind, Believing God, A Heart Like His, Master Potter and Master Potter and the Mountain of Fire, The Final Quest series, Hinds Feet on High Places, Mountains of Spices, some of the Left Behind books, Heaven, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, The Practice of the Presence of God, Stepping Heavenward, The Stand, Falling in Love with Jesus, The God Chasers, anything by Beth Moore, Elizabeth George, Louisa May Alcott, Edith Wharton, Robert Frost, Luanne Rice, Kristen Hannah, Karen Kingsbury, Rosamunde Pilcher, and Shakespeare.
