High-Octane Southern Psychedelic

About Me

The fire burned bright from the next ridge over. Someone was there, right at the treeline. There was no way to know how many people could be there, but the fire was for more than one. We hadn't been bold enough to try to start our own fire. That was starting to look like a very good decision. I wanted to go take a closer look at the newcomers, but I knew that to get to the next ridge there would be plenty of briars and brambles to traverse in this dark. And we were hid so well in our own treeline. They couldn't know we were here. We'd made it three days so far without trouble. Paranoia. It's all in your head.
